about
you call me hermine. i am in my early twenties and use she/they pronouns. i write whatever is of interest to me - in terms of strictly fandom, that would mostly be scp foundation and the works of project moon. outside of that, i'm fond of black tea, gnosticism, and weird trivia. my favorite book of all time is hermann hesse's "steppenwolf" (hence the online name). sometimes i draw when i have the confidence for it.
i often write about taboo topics in my work - including but not limited to incest, rape, gore, and child abuse. please keep that in mind as you go through my work. i believe that expressing ourselves as authentically as we can through topics that would be considered illegal or dangerous in real life can be more cathartic than conventional, more romanticized means of dealing with our personal problems via fiction. other than that, i try to ensure that every piece i share with the world is the best it can possibly be.
though i maintain a much more quiet presence on the internet now, i'm still open to chat. as much as i take issue with modern fandom climate, i do really like the potential for community and discussion. if you think we'll get along, i'm open to chat. thank you for stopping by.
